New standard on the blockchain

As the web3 ecosystem finds its mark, how do you introduce revolutionary ideas to the market?

A complex and revolutionary idea

We were tasked to launch Bitcarbon, a stablecoin pegged to the value of diamonds. It has a rather complex value chain with different propositions for each audience, and the market at the time was crowded and volatile.

Breaking down the message into simpler, more compelling parts

We had to move quickly, so I took a rapid sprint approach with multiple activities running in parallel.

The message was too complex, so I focused the team’s attention on entangling the value chain. The breakthrough was to create a foundation brand. “Diamond Standard” became the entry point for investor relationships, partnerships, and governance tokens. It signals safety, reliability, and confidence.

Educating investors

The Bitcarbon brand could then focus on retail investors and custodians. So, I briefed the team on educating newcomers on what bitcarbon is and how it works in an approachable, tech-forward, and intelligent way.

End-to-end web3 UX launched at speed

We rapidly launched the marketing site for Bitcarbon and created a modular content package that allowed their team to carry through the story further.

We also designed the web app and mobile products in collaboration with Bitcarbon’s dev team. I learned a lot about the intricacies of Web3 UX design along the way.
